Education is very important these days. If you do not have some kind of education then there is not any way to make a good living. Without an education, you can not get a job. A lot of jobs require at least a High School Diploma or even a GED, including working at McDonalds. The average person that has a High School Diploma can make about 20,000 dollars a year compared to somebody that does not have one, they can make about 10,000 a year.

Which would be better $20,000 or $10,0000 a year? I think making $20,000 a year is a whole better then make almost next to nothing. But if you have a High School Diploma then you would be making about $20,000 a year, which comes out to about $1,666 a month before taxes. Then you will be able to pay all of your bills and might be able to have extra money left over to do something extra for yourself. For example, going out to eat, going to the movies or something else.

If you are making 10,000 a year, that would be about $830 a month before taxes. Some places these days you can rent a studio apartment for $600 and that does not include electricity, gas, phone or anything else that you might have to pay for. After paying everything you might have very little to buy grocery's for the month.

Having a value of education will be very helpful for both you and your family.
